Center For Student Involvement

The Center for Student Involvement is supported by the Office of Student Organizations and Activities, but is home to Student Activities Board, Student Government Association, Center for Community Outreach, Homecoming CoaDanceBlue, and Involvement Advisors. This space is also a resource for our 500+ student organizations. The Center for Student Involvement is located on the second floor of the Bill Gatton Student Center and is open 8:00am-10:00pm every day.

 

The Office of Student Organizations and Activities is excited to announce several student organization resources for the 2018-2019 academic year! Located in the Center for Student Involvement in the Gatton Student Center there will be:

 

Storage lockers for student organizations by request

Student organization office space available by application

Design Center with free copies for registered student organizations

Tables available for reservation

Storage Lockers

Lockers are still available for the 2018-2019 academic year.  Any registered organization can request a locker or a group of lockers in various sizes.  The locker request form can be found on BBNvolved and linked here.

 

Student Organization Office Spaces

Student organization spaces have been assigned for the 2018-2019 academic year.  They were awarded to NAACP, Black Student Union, and Alpha Phi Omega.  Applications for the 2019-2020 academic year will open in the spring of 2019.   There are three office spaces and they will be assigned for the academic year. Space applications can be found on BBNvolved when they become available.

Design Center Resources

Located in A252A, the Design Center in the Center for Student Involvement, houses a copy machine, paper cutter, and a laminator, for the use of registered student organizations.  The Office of Student Organizations and Activities will offer FREE copies to registered organizations for the 2018-2019 academic year.  Each organization can make 200 black and white copies and 100 color copies.  Each registered student organization is assigned a unique copy code for this use that they receive via email.  The hours of the Design Center are Monday through Sunday 8:00am-10:00pm.

 

Table Request Form for Student Organizations

The Offices of Student Organizations and Activities has five tables available by request for use by registered student organizations for tabling events.  The table request form and guidelines can be found on BBNvolved and is linked here.
