Student Organization Registration Process

Registration for the 2011-2012 academic year has now ended.  No further orientation sessions or registration applications will be processed for this year. 

Registration for the following academic year (12-13) will begin in early April.  Dates/times for orientations will be posted on this site by late March.

Step 1 - Education
Attend a 30 minute Orientation.  These are required for new or re-registering organizations, and are held in the CSI (106 Student Center).
  Re-registering organizations will retrieve their code number at this session. 

Questions my be directed to Todd.Cox@uky.edu.  If you encounter issues with the online registration system, please visit the web tutorial (2nd video).  Note: Skip the section regarding financial information as we will no longer be requesting this information. 

Step 2 - Application
Complete the online registration application.  Students will use their LinkBlue credentials to log into the system, update members/officers or change any other aspect of the organization's information.  A list of all the information required for the online system can be found here

   
Each group must meet the following criteria to become a registered student organization:
complete & submit the online application, upload all organizational constitutions and/or bylaws, possess three currently enrolled, student officers that are in good standing and have a full-time UK faculty/staff member sign as the advisor.  If you need to create a constitution, we have a model version.

Step 3 - Verification

Once the online application has been completed, the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) verifies information and approves the organization's registration application.
