Meeting and Event Space Requests

Cats Den (Cats Den)

The Cats Den offers a $250 subsidy to any registered student organization that hosts a program in the space on a Friday or Saturday.  This money can be used to offset the cost of games, food, advertising, technical support or any other service offered by the Cats Den staff.  Plan ahead as the Cats Den is booked early for different events during the semester.  To sign up, email the Director Dustin Adams (dustin.adams@uky.edu) with the name and contact information for your organization.

Printing Request

Student organizations are allowed 100 color pages + 150 B&W pages  OR  500 B&W pages per academic year.  This is a request process through OrgSync.  We ask for 5 business days to process requests.  Once your request is ready, you will be notified and your copies will be available in the Office of Student Organizations and Activities-located on the 3rd floor of Blazer Dining.  For more information and to submit a request click HERE

Graphic Design Services (GoogleForm)

All registered student organizations can take advantage of this service once per academic year.  We encourage you to sign up 3-4 weeks before your deadline to ensure that our Graphic Designer will have enough time to complete the project.  Due to the large number of requests, it usually takes our graphic designer 1-2 weeks to contact your organization.  This service is only offered during the fall & spring semesters.

Funding

Student Government Association offers funding opportunities for student organizations.  Your organization can apply for a grant for General Funding, Club Sports, Multicultural Inclusion, and Service.  For more information on these grant options and application please visit the Student Government website HERE

Fundraising Request Form (PDF)

This form is to be used when fundraising or soliciting on campus for your student organization. Return the completed form to the Student Center Director's office, located on the 3rd floor of Blazer Dining. For a copy of the UK policy, click here.

Model Constitution (Editable Word Doc)

This is a guideline for organizations to create their own constitution. Every group must have a constitution and will need to upload it into their online registration application. An organizational constitution must meet the following criteria to meet UK's standards: group must be non-discriminatory, only current students can be officers, membership requirements must be defined and the document must indicate how leaders are selected from term to term.
