Women’s Leadership Week is an opportunity for all UK women to come together for a week of events celebrating Women’s History Month and women in leadership at UK.  This is a collaborative initiative between numerous student organizations and campus offices, including but not limited to:

Participants in Women’s Leadership Week will:

  • Explore their identity as women and how it impacts their daily lives
  • Engage in opportunities to reflect on what it means to be a woman and a leader

Our goals for all participants in Women’s Leadership Week are to:

  • Celebrate Women’s History Month through a series of collaborative programs and events
  • Foster a deeper understanding of the diverse roles and contributions women make
  • Nurture students’ self-awareness, self-confidence, and personal growth as women and as leaders
  • Provide opportunities for women to explore career and life choices
  • Highlight campus and community resources specifically tailored to women, including women entrepreneurs, student organizations, campus resources and programs, and community partners
